I am a local woman artist, who works in multiple disciplines. As such I constantly examine myself, my art practice and seek to demonstrate that my artwork still resonates with who I am. For this artwork, I have reevaluated my practice by taking a different approach towards the materials I use, and by also questioning the reasons why I am doing what I do, whilst finding my voice. I have been led to my path in art through my personal relationship with the world surrounding me. I have found that the best way to express myself is through art. My art has become an ally to put my mind to rest and helps me to be at peace with the everything. My journey in art started by using and exploring different mediums. For some years I concentrated on developing my skills as a painter. My environment and inquisitive mind require me to explore new ways to express my ideas.
