What on earth? It’s a big question and one which has endless answers. Earthlings, Laura and David Froude and Steven Aron Williams have been throwing around this question whilst working together over the past six months.

This perhaps unexpected collaboration was born out of a love of life and colour and a belief that life is fragile and should be lived like there is no tomorrow with a spirit of playful curiosity.

The show at Gallery 66 is an exploration of perspectives and materials for the artists. Laura has been looking at the earth from above. Studying its vivid tones and shifting landscapes with energetic and layered brush strokes. Her expressive paintings are a celebration of our planet's complex and diverse natural beauty.

David and Steven, by contrast, have been down here on earth playing with ideas of life and death in a ceramic carnival of colour and mischievous absurdity. Their work, functional and decorative, is about bringing people together and trying new things. A fusion of their experiences and creativity. A rich jamboree inspired by their fellow earthlings.

We invite prospective buyers, collectors and commissioners to visit the show early to make connections…
