That Folkestone Artist aka Danny Windsor is a Kent-based Graphic Artist who graduated in Fine Art at the Surrey Institute of Art & Design in 2005. His work originating in the messy paint studios of a fine art environments, focusing on line and intersections, and mapping of every day shapes. Painting large scale 6x4ft canvas of purely line using a number of processes. Inspired my artists such as; Patrick Caulfield, Julian Opie, Sarah Morris and Michael Craig-Martin.

Upon returning to Folkestone, he worked with public arts organisations such as Strange Cargo, Folkestone Triennial, Folkestone Fringe and various galleries around the town. Also focusing his practice digitally, the process of creating lines and clarity, selling many limited edition prints. Fast forward a career and some babies and now working in his studio on Tontine street, back with the purpose that has always been there.

To show my work to others, to create for the sake of creation again. I'm older, wiser and have seen the town go through some changes over the years. Outside of That Folkestone Artist, Danny is a multimedia artist, with a background in painting, his recent works showcase all the consumer habits we have as humans, in brightly coloured, glossy abstract paintings. “I'm still obsessed with line and how we can use it in a process based way as an artist. But also using art for the way it is intended. To speak about the world in which it exists.”
