Born After Midnight, an alternative, an intangible starting point for a journey out into the world, (BORN AFTER MIDNIGHT) is an exploration into the singularity of childhood, its transient nature, and it’s commodity: to readdress; to affect; to unite It all started with Georgio Chririco. Duality, 1975. That castle in the distance. The space between the dwelling and the two figures and the thoughts of their journey. I was drawn to the house being the place to move from or perhaps to offering another to playing house. A platform rather than an enclosure. Then almost instantaneously came Leonorna Carrtington, Alma Siedhoff-Buscher, Louise Nevelson, Dorothea Tanning, Remdies Varo, Ray Eames, Alexander Calder. inhabitants of an alternative place, indeterminate creatures and undefined spaces.

THE PROJECT / the design of timeless assemblages that originate for children but that could inspire playfulness throughout a lifetime, to move from childhood through to adult spaces with the intention of offering a genuine evolving legacy.

CREATIVE PLAY OBJECTS / the exploration of traditional paints and finishings, integrating found objects and reclaimed materials to achieve natural, non toxic, environmentally conscious and sustainable products for responsible consumption. Formally trained at Central St Martins completing an MA in Womenswear. A background in women's fashion design, styling and luxury children’s products.
