Alex Boican is a Romanian-born, self-taught, multi-disciplinary artist based in Folkestone, UK. At the centre of Alex’s art practice is the symbolic life of partial objects: heads, chairs, and vessels. His art practice includes oil painting, watercolour and ink painting, mixed media drawing, printing, performance, and poetic installations. Alex is the creator of The Nervous Drawing and Painting workshops, a space of free mark-making exploration, which he co-facilitates with Deborah Crofts.
