Frank Pudney’s large, intricate abstract paintings create optical impressions of natural clusters and rifts, interested in the inner experience of shifting scale. His work has been selected for the Jerwood Drawing Prize and John Moores Painting Prize in recent years and has a drawing in the permanent collection in the British museum which was featured in the 2020 show ‘Pushing Paper’ contemporary drawing from 1970 to now.
Ceri Elliston works with clay in a way that is akin to collage or drawing, adding and combining hand-built, extruded and wheel-thrown elements. Making reference to landscape and drawing influence from the rich cultural history of ceramics.
